With the largest audience in the world, the five-hour CCTV Spring Festival Gala or “Chun Wan” in Chinese is a dream stage for aspiring entertainers. 1. Li Guyi

Li Guiyi is the first pop singer from the Chinese mainland. In 1983, on the first CCTV Spring Festival Gala, Li Guyi sang the once banned song “Nostalgia” in front of the whole nation and altogether she sang nine songs, which left deep impression on Chinese people.

2. Zhang Mingmin
